Telegraph Pole

The calm before the storm on my way back from the station yesterday evening... The brackets act as hand and foot holds for engineers working on the cables - not sure if they still use them these days! A quick Google on the subject led me to the Telegraph Pole Appreciation Society website: "These much ignored pieces of rural and urban furniture finally have a website of their own". Goodness!
