Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) was a Scottish architect, designer, watercolourist and sculptor. He was a designer in the Arts & Crafts Movement and a key exponent of Art Nouveau in the UK. He also had a considerable influence on European design.
During our recent trip to Scotland we took up the trail of CRM, visiting many of the buildings he designed and built. As we went along we started to recognise many of the shapes, patterns and colours beloved of the artist.
