Kensington Summer Days

Thursday, 23 June 2011

It's my last day working in South Kensington tomorrow, so I decided to pay a lunchtime visit to my favourite place in the area, The John Madejski Garden at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Followers of last year's 365 Project will have seen a few shots from the V&A, including this one taken of a light installation in the garden.

The sun was shining today and folks were out sunning themselves, enjoying a drink and dipping their toes in the water. I put my head back, took a huge deep breath and drank myself up some summer.

It's been an enjoyable 7 years and I'll kind of miss the area. I'm off to Greece next week so check back soon for some (I hope!) stunning Ionian pictures. Next stop after that will be Regent Street and a whole new area to play in at lunchtime!
