Stateside: Atlanta

Monday, 26 March 2012

Here are a few shots from last year's autumn trip over the pond, en route to Colombia.

This is classic America to me - the baseball game, the big, natural setting, all against a backdrop of skyscrapers - love it!

Atlanta High Museum of Art - a fantastic building, never mind the great stuff inside!

You know I love a good reflection - this one was too good to miss!

A couple of signs which made me chuckle...

The Olympic Centenary Park - names of people who helped to fund it.

The Westin Hotel.  There's a revolving restaurant at the top where we went for dinner.  It turns slowly but perceptively and you get great views all around the city.  Tasty food too!

Georgia Aquarium - the largest in the world apparently.
