We recently visited a place so beautiful it took our breath away...
4 miles of incredible sand...
and stunning views.
Almost deserted...
but for the two of us and a few fishermen.
We chatted to a couple of the guys. They were in a competition based on fish length, rather than weight.
A plaice is hauled in...
and inspected in detail.
It was pretty squaly down on the beach, the tide was rolling in.
But the light was amazing.
The air so fresh and clear, a million miles from old London town, it felt fantastic drinking it all in, feeling the cobwebs blowing away!
I could've stayed there f-o-r-e-v-e-r...
A final shot using the remote shutter on the camera, and a delicious memory to take back.
What an absolutely gorgeous place, a new favourite for me - we are so going back there soon!!
Where's your favourite place?
Hi Claire,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures of the sea are wonderful, like you my dream is to live with a view of the sea and I love taking photographs too. Your pictures of the bore are great too, I have see it on the TV but it must be amazing to witness.

Hi Sarah
DeleteYes, water is an incredible thing - I would even settle to live by a river or a lake!
