Open your Eyes

Tuesday, 25 February 2014

Last week if you remember, I posted about a little project I'm working on.

Sight was the first challenge and the prompts were:

~ the colours red, yellow & purple
~ my initials
~ hearts

~ looking inside, outside, up and down
~ objects & abstracts

I've been out and about with my camera and here's what I came up with:

Someone lost their colourful ball!
Valentine roses still hanging on in there!
This bush had the odd red leaf here and there, weird!

This crane is at the top of our road ~ I've not noticed it before and not sure what work they're doing...

A lot of skips in my area at the moment as developers move in and renovate properties which are then being sold for eye-watering prices

Beautiful spring, just that...

Last year's National Geographic collection

My jumble of winter scarves...

Upside down railing hearts

Who were they? Are they still together I wonder?

Love in nature...

A heart shape leaf I came across one day
This project definitely opened my eyes and I saw things which I'd never noticed before. The prompts really made me look, not just see. It's a nice idea to go out exploring with the intention of capturing images of particular things ~ I'll definitely be doing it again.

Back soon with the next part of Exploring the Senses...
