Grow London

Wednesday, 25 June 2014

Last week we had a special invitation to attend the opening night of London's newest gardening show: Grow

Set on the lovely Hampstead Heath, the fair bills itself as 'a one-stop hub of gardening excellence' and promises 'masses of inspiration, creativity, originality and style for everyone from plant-mad professionals to green-fingered enthusiasts'.

Here's a little look at what went on...

The venue was a large marquee on the Heath not far from the station.

Inside was everything garden-related ~ from plants to garden furniture ~ suiting different tastes & budgets.

There were some lovely quirky things, like these spade stools and my friend the sheep...

These seed bombs rocked ~ throw it, grow it!

And just look at these tiny orchids in vintage tea cups...

Lots of divine-smelling soap...

Food & drink was provided by Laithwaite's & Benugo ~ we tucked in!

I'd never seen so many heucheras all together ~ just look at those colours!

In succulent heaven!

I'd definitely recommend heading along to Grow when it returns next year. All the sellers are so friendly and it's a great place to buy a more unusual plant for your garden or pick up a gift for someone special.
