Project 365
Last year I completed a 365 Project with the aim of getting myself out there taking more pictures, broadening my photographic horizons and developing my technical know-how. I think everyone has subjects they love and tend to gravitate towards (mine are flowers & nature) so I used the project as an opportunity to move out of my comfort zone and start finding and 'seeing' new things to shoot, especially in urban settings.
You can see my work from this and read what I've learnt and my top tips here.

Project 10.10.10
I took a photowalk in my local area with the aim of documenting the 10th day of the 10th month of the 10th year of this century. The weather was glorious so I was able to capture some beautiful autumn colours. Quite a few people on Flickr did the same project. Check out my set here.
Door Knockers of Cartagena
At the end of 2010, we visited the Colonial walled city of Cartagena in Colombia. The huge number of ornate door knockers really made an impression on me and led to this mini-project.
Project 50-50-50
50 photos with a 50mm lens on the 50th day of the year (19th Feb 2011). A set of shots from the morning, afternoon and evening of one day.
